Greetings! It is with pleasure and deep honor that I have the opportunity to extend a hearty greeting in recognition of the Chinese New Year 2007 Spectacular that will debut in Detroit at the Opera House on January 22, 2008.

The Chinese New Year is the longest and most important celebration in the Chinese calendar and the Chinese New Year Spectacular is a way of sharing your visual arts with many different cultures. Chinese New Year 2007 is the Year of the Pig or DingHai and as you celebrate the Year of the Pig, you preparations to help those who are less fortunate.
