My name is Michael Konken. I am the chairman of the German Journalists' Union. Let me use this opportunity to wish all NTDTV audiences a Happy New Year, and all the best. I am very glad to know that NTDTV will host the Chinese New Year Spectacular in Berlin in February 2007. It’s with great pleasure that I have the chance to enjoy this event. The German Journalists' Union will promote 2007 as German Press Freedom Year, and will host various events.  We hope every country in the world will pay attention to press freedom.
