On behalf of the City of Toronto it is my great pleasure to offer warmest greetings to everyone attending the 2008 Chinese New Year Spectacular. May I wish everyone a New Year filled with much happiness, good health and prosperity for you and your family.
The Chinese New Year Spectacular is a unique event that provides Torontonians of Chinese heritage an opportunity to celebrate and share their unique culture through traditional performances.
I congratulate New Tang Dynasty Television, the Divine Performing Arts Troupe and everyone involved in organizing this show for their time, energy and commitment to making the Chinese New Year Spectacular a much anticipated and highly successful annual event.
