Babette Josephs, Pennsylvania State Representative

I'm the State Representative Babette Josephs from South Philadelphia and Center City, and I'm here to wish everyone who's Chinese and everyone who's not, a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year. But most of all I want to say “Shalom”. Shalom in Hebrew is peace. Shalom is a greeting. It means “Bye, I hope I get to see you again soon”. It means “Hello, I'm so glad you''re here.” And it means peace. So for 2007 I wish all of us, the whole world and all its children Shalom, peace.
