Good afternoon, good day. My name is Blondell Reynolds Brown, Philadelphia City Councilwoman at Large. What a great pleasure it is to welcome to our city for the first time ever the Chinese New Year Spectacular. Philadelphia is a city that is bustling with arts and culture that represent communities all across the globe. And as Chair of our City Council's Committee on Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, it is an enormous pleasure that for the first time we will have a Chinese community bringing and having this wonderful, wonderful celebration right here in the city of firsts, the City of Philadelphia.
