NEW YORK—The Passerelli family made a special trip from Connecticut to New York to take in the Chinese New Year Splendor playing at Radio City Music Hall.
Ron and Lily Passerelli, owners of Passerelli Landscaping, and their daughters Camila and Keilly were impressed with the show.
"I think the show is very beautiful, all the costumes and the colors and the choreography; it is very, very nice! I was very happy that the girls were interested in seeing more cultures," said Ron.
"It was very interesting, it is very different. The colors, the dancing was very interesting, loved the show," Lily said.
The Passerellis came to the performance at the behest of Camila and Keilly.
"Actually we bought the tickets, because our daughters wanted to come. They were the ones that wanted to see the dancing. The girls told my husband 'we want to come' because they wanted to see something different, they were very happy when we bought the tickets," said Lily.
"We saw the advertisement in the supermarket and the girls saw the pictures, they got very interested in the costumes and they really wanted to come. We try to come to NY every once or twice per month."
Ten-year-old Camila said, "I liked it very much! It is very interesting, we liked it." Keilly, 7, said she liked learning some Chinese words.
"We enjoyed it very much," said Ron.
