Frank Padavan, New York State Senator (2008)

I am Frank Padavan, representing Queens, particularly Flushing. I've been marching with my Chinese American  friends in the Lunar Day parade as I've done every year. It's a wonderful event. A very colorful and tens of thousands of people, Asian Americans and others line up to watch this great parade in Flushing, Queens. I hope you will be there with us. This is the Year of the Rat. Rat represents prosperity, growth and increase in quality of life and I wish that for every one, particularly those in my community who are Chinese Americans.
