The Chinese Spectacular premiered in Cleveland, OH on Saturday, May 3rd to an audience of over 2,400 people. Many people were interviewed and asked for their opinions on the show. While their favorite aspects of the show differed from person to person, the general consensus remained the same – The Chinese Spectacular is stunning in every regard.

Trinia Gregory, a professional dancer for 8 years, was blown away by the Chinese Spectacular on May 6 at the Northern Albeta Jubilee Auditorium, Edmonton. "I really like the fact that they brought in the divine consciousness, the spiritual consciousness, the spiritual side. It's very enlightening.

Kryztyna Papp and Mark Campbell were very impressed with the Chinese Spectacular when they saw the show at the Von Braun Concert Hall on Tuesday.Being a dancer she appreciates ‘positive Chinese influence’ in ‘Spectacular.’ I just love what the whole show represents…. Especially right now with the whole Chinese and Tibetan turbulence, I think it's good to see another side.

Suzanne Lacroix, acting regional director for Statistics Canada, has always liked Chinese things, and the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular did not disappoint."I very much enjoyed it. I enjoy Chinese culture very much because my son is half Chinese and I try on occasion,

Edmonton's Jubilee Auditorium welcomed the Spectacular on Monday night and honored the performers with a standing ovation. Lola Bots and Ruth Linecker attended the show together. Bots, who formerly worked in the retail industry, thought it was "absolutely incredible."

Ms. W, who has been in the US for only three months, enthusiastically spoke about her feelings of many acts throughout the Chinese Spectacular."The dancing is very beautiful and fantastic. I really like the dances showing the special characteristics of Chinese ethnicity." 'The Loyalty of Yue Fei' is a well known story and represents a spirit of our nationality – total dedication to one's country," she said.

Among the audience members, Ms. Lei Yang came to the United States in August 2007, and is a Chinese language teacher at Roosevelt High School in Kent, Ohio."It made Chinese as well as Americans understand the essence of the traditional Chinese culture in a short period of time. I thought the show was very successful. The costume, the music was all very splendid."

"I have grown up watching ballets with my family, mostly women, so they always dragged me to dance shows and ballet shows and I always hated it," Justin Colon said. "But this was by far the most beautiful, unbelievable experience as far as theatrical performances go that I have ever seen."

As a Mandarin teacher at Calgary's Father Lacombe Catholic high school, Wanda Tong thought bringing her students to watch the Chinese Spectacular was a good way to teach them about Chinese culture

Jerdeave and Narinder Saran, both teachers, were enthralled by the beauty and quality of the performances."It is gorgeous. It is breathtaking. You can't say anything more than that. It is beautiful, a feast for the eyes, I am telling you, so beautiful," said Narinder."The music is priceless. Thank you for putting this on."

Germany–Michael Leh is the executive director for the Federation of Displaced Persons in Bavaria and member of the Radio Council. "I can now say that after the first half, it is really excellent and very impressive. They have beautiful dance scenes.I also liked the content that put emphasis on justice and truthfulness. I hope that these values might catch on in Mainland China."

Barbara Zapf-Dorn, owner of a ballet school in Nuremberg, thoroughly enjoyed the renowned Chinese Spectacular when she attended the show at Munich's Prince Regent Theatre on Saturday. She commented on the high caliber of the dancers. "It was excellent.

George Taylor, a member of thef Vancouver Symphony board of directors, said "The interpretation of mythology and thought, song and feelings was very well done," he said. "The first performance with the fog coming out it looked like they were floating."  He mentioned he was impressed by the Chinese classical dance.

Lorne Hardy, a retired auditor, and his daughter, Susan, a government employee, were in the audience for Saturday's matinee, which played to a full house. They both agreed that the Spectacular was the best performance that they had seen in quite some time. "It was Fantastic."

"It was overwhelming how beautiful it was. We really enjoyed it." Jamie, a dancer most of her life said, "I really enjoyed the leads, the extensions, and the turns.

The Carlson Center's Yardley Hall hosted the opening night for the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular in Kansas City. Although the Divine Performing Arts has been touring for years, this is the city's first chance to host the show that is at forefront of the Chinese cultural renaissance.

As Divine Performing Arts wraps up its performance in Seattle, Juliet McMains and Christina Sunardi left the show on Thursday with excitement. Both agreed on a favorite piece, the "Mongolian Bowl Dance."

At Seattle's debut of the Chinese Spectacular, Washington State Senator Paull Shin was met with a surprise. "I did not know what I was getting into," he said. "This is the epitome of the top of the Chinese arts and Chinese music and dance."

Mr. Michael Pili Pang, executive director of the Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts and several friends attended the first ever Hawaii performance of the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular at the Neil Blaisdell Center. Although it is a Tuesday afternoon, Adelaide Festival Theatre was still full of people coming to see the Divine Performance Arts Chinese Spectacular. Dr. Lu, who has been living in Adelaide for many years, told reporter he was deeply touched by the show.
